This leisurely walk takes you through orange groves and along gushing streams up into the delightful mountainside village Fornalutx via the hamlet of Biniaraix. Merely follow Soller’s famous Calle Luna out of town. When you get to a bridge, beside a stone cross and red-brick house continue straight (don’t cross the bridge). Soon you’lll be in tiny Biniaraix, where you should stop at the only bar for a limonada (fresh lemonade with honey). As you reach the end of the main street, it’s worth taking a small detour to the right at the old stone wash house to admire views of the valley. Backtrack and continue to Fornalutx. When leaving Fornalutx, ask for the Sa Tanqueta Apartments on the Cami de Binibasi, or the Cementeri (cemetery). This will take you back to Soller via a delightful forested walk and through the clutch of farmsteads and olive mills known as Binibasi.
